How to check my Steam Guard status?

This article will help you check if your Steam Guard is active on Steam.

Steam page

You can check the status of your Steam Guard in the "Account details" section on Steam: Steam Home > Account Details > Account Security

Scroll down to "Account Security". You should see the green shield with "Protected by Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator" status

You need to see the green shield with the "Protected by Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator" description

If you see the red shield (“Steam Guard is not enabled for this account”) or yellow shield (“Protected by Steam Guard email”), you do not have an active Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator and need to set it to trade on Skinomat. See this article for detailed instructions how to do this

Steam app

On your phone, open the Steam app. Click on the shield icon in the middle of the menu bar at the bottom of the main page

If your Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator is active, you will see an option to scan a QR code
